God impressed Himself upon me at a young age and has never let go. When I was little, I walked down the street every week to attend Sunday school at a small Baptist church. I began attending the Sunday preaching service where I learned who God was and that I needed a Savior. At the age of 14 I learned from a youth pastor that Christianity is more than a Sunday morning activity. Since then Jesus has challenged me to know Him better and understand His will for my life.
God has blessed my life in countless ways. I have a wonderful wife and lovable two year old son who bring me great joy. At Alathia God has given me the mission of leading our financial and hospitality ministries, of which I am honored to oversee.
Favorite Verse: Romans 12: 9-13
"Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality."
Favorite Book: Faith in Future Grace by John Piper
"The effort to repay God, in the ordinary way we pay creditors, would nullify grace and turn it into a business transaction. If we see acts of obedience as installment payments, we make grace into a mortgage... Let us not say that grace creates debts; let us say that grace pays debts." Pastor John Piper
