Core Values

Truth (Alathia) – God’s word is truth. As a gift He revealed it to us through prophets who spoke and wrote as directed by the Holy Spirit. Over the ages God’s chosen people collected these revelations in a series of books that we call the Bible. We look to it as our final authority for faith and practice.

Authenticity – Jesus lived a perfect life, the rest of us shouldn’t think more highly of ourselves than we ought. We lift Christ up, strive to be like him, but acknowledge that we fall far short of His standard and rejoice that we are forgiven.

Compassion – Christ’s followers should be known for their sacrificial love. We strive to practice hospitality, give to those in need, and point others to our savior who is the great physician and the comforter of our souls.

Community – We learn in the Bible that we are not meant to walk the earth alone. We also know that Christ calls us as a local church to a certain task. If the local church is following Christ they will form a community. We all have something to add and to share, and we all need each other.
